Acest test ar putea ajuta medicii oncologi s\u0103 depisteze pacien\u021bii care au nevoie de tratament suplimentar \u00eenc\u0103 din momentul diagnostic\u0103rii.<!--more--><br \/>\nCercet\u0103torii au reu\u0219it s\u0103 identifice \u00een \u021besutul tumorilor \u00eendep\u0103rtate de la pacien\u021bi cu cancer de colon cel pu\u021bin o muta\u021bie a genei specifice maladiei de care sufereau. Au urm\u0103rit apoi la fiecare pacient aceast\u0103 semn\u0103tur\u0103 genetic\u0103 \u00een e\u0219antioanele de s\u00eenge prelevate periodic la patru p\u00een\u0103 la zece s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00eeni dup\u0103 interven\u021bia chirurgical\u0103 \u0219i apoi o dat\u0103 la trei luni \u0219i la doi ani. De asemenea, participan\u021bilor la studiu le-a fost scanat integral corpul la fiecare \u0219ase luni timp de doi ani dup\u0103 opera\u021bia de \u00eendep\u0103rtare a tumorii.
