Astfel, acest hormon poate deveni un tratament viabil pentru <a href=\"http:\/\/doctorexpres.ro\/index.php\/2016\/06\/26\/gripa-raceala-guturai-care-e-deosebirea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">grip\u0103<\/a>, la femei. <!--more--><br \/>\nLiderul studiului, dr. Sabra L. Klein, profesor asociat la Departamentul de Microbiologie \u015fi Imunologie Molecular\u0103 arat\u0103 c\u0103: \u201e\u00ce<em>ntelegerea rolului pe care progesteronul pare s\u0103-l joace \u00een repararea celulelor pulmonare ar putea fi foarte important pentru s\u0103n\u0103tatea femeilor, dincolo de oprirea ovula\u021biei<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Klein \u015fi colegii s\u0103i au implantat progesteron la \u0219oareci femele. Au fost apoi infectate cu <a href=\"http:\/\/doctorexpres.ro\/index.php\/2016\/08\/17\/gripa-se-ia-mai-usor-dimineata\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">virusul gripei<\/a> \u015fi cele care nu au primit progesteron. Ambele seturi de \u015foareci s-au \u00eemboln\u0103vit, dar cele care au avut hormonul au prezentat forme u\u015foare de inflama\u021bie pulmonar\u0103, func\u0163ia pulmonar\u0103 a fost mai pu\u0163in afectat\u0103, iar celulele lor pulmonare deteriorate s-au reparat mai repede.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cercet\u0103torii au descoperit c\u0103 progesteronul a fost factor de protec\u0163ie \u00eempotriva efectelor mai grave ale <a href=\"http:\/\/doctorexpres.ro\/index.php\/2016\/06\/17\/fierea-pamintului-buna-la-raceala-si-gripa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gripei<\/a>, prin cre\u015fterea produc\u0163iei de amfiregulin\u0103, o protein\u0103 din mucoasa pl\u0103m\u00eenilor. \u00cen cazul \u015foarecilor c\u0103rora rezerva de amfiregulin\u0103 li s-a epuizat, efectele protectoare ale progesteronului au disp\u0103rut. Klein spune c\u0103 nu a fost surprins de faptul c\u0103 progesteronul a diminuat inflama\u021bia \u0219i daunele asociate cu gripa. Ceea ce nu se a\u0219tepta a fost s\u0103 constate c\u0103 hormonul a ajutat la repararea celulelor. S-au g\u0103sit efecte similare \u015fi \u00een cazul administr\u0103rii de progesteron \u00een form\u0103 sintetic\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Echipa lui Klein continu\u0103 cercet\u0103rile pentru a studia mecanismul precis prin care progesteronul cre\u0219te concentra\u021bia de amfiregulin\u0103 \u00een pl\u0103m\u00eeni. Rapoartele Organiza\u021biei Mondiale a S\u0103n\u0103t\u0103\u021bii arat\u0103 c\u0103 femeile de v\u00eerst\u0103 reproductiv\u0103 au de dou\u0103 ori mai multe \u015fanse dec\u00eet b\u0103rba\u0163ii de a suferi de complica\u0163ii produse de <a href=\"http:\/\/doctorexpres.ro\/index.php\/2016\/06\/16\/cimbrisorul-de-cimp-planta-antigripala\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">virusul gripal<\/a>.\u00a0Atunci c\u00eend se \u00eemboln\u0103vesc de grip\u0103, nivelurile lor naturale de progesteron scad.
